Hopes for US-Iran talks have sent oil prices lower amid broader market moves.
US equities showed a split performance with the Dow advancing while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq extended losses, Europe closed mostly higher and Asian markets churned on elections and crude US markets.
Oil continued to sink as Apple shares dipped ahead of its quarterly report and Palantir earnings loom with AppLovin the worst performer in the S&P 500 this year earnings outlook.
